Job Description:

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in our integrated health clinic, you will provide psychiatric outpatient services in collaboration with our integrated health team. This setting is ideal for those who appreciate an environment that provides services and support within a mental health setting and who have a passion to provide whole health care for individuals with mental illness. Our Nurse Practitioner will provide leadership and support in championing the continued growth and development of Community Alliance's integrated care program. As a Clinician, you will directly provide psychiatric services while collaborating with other behavioral health, medical, and pharmacy staff to ensure a whole health approach to the men and women we serve.

Position Summary

Provide the full scope of psychiatric care services which fall under his/her field of training, including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, prescribing medications, facilitating treatment planning, providing support for clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities


  • Provide high quality integrated care and treatment of Community Alliance clients.
  • Act as the champion with Community Alliance for psychiatric care within the context of an integrated care model, working to grow the practice and improve quality, in collaboration with the members of the Community Alliance team.
  • Work with appropriate community partners to enhance and expand services both for established Community Alliance clients and new clients appropriate to the organization's mission.
  • Collaborate with Community Alliance leadership to develop annual programmatic objectives and quality targets and optimally integrate care with other services provided by the organization.

Qualifications

  • Current Nebraska licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
  • Preferably have 5 years of experience, with one or more years of at least semi-independent practice
  • Experience and a demonstrated commitment to care for the needs of a population with serious mental illness
