POSITION SUMMARY:
The US PH (Pet Health) Digital and Media Leader is a key position in the company as we continue to develop our digital ecosystem and our communication towards both Veterinarians and Pet Owners.
Reporting directly to the US Pet Health Marketing Leader and closely collaborating with Global Marketing, you will have the responsibility to develop and manage the Digital Marketing Ecosystem and the Direct to Vet and to Consumer communication for our Brands, leading a team of digital and media professionals, collaborating with marketing and sales (incl. Ecommerce) and managing the external agencies landscape.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops and manages the US PH digital marketing ecosystem, including vets and pet owners web portals, Customer and Consumer Relationship Platform, Social Platforms and first party data database.
Designs and leads the implementation of digital marketing processes and best practices to support brand management to maximize brand campaigns, including performance marketing, Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO).
Develops and manages the US PH digital marketing ecosystem, including vets and pet owners web portals, Customer and Consumer Relationship Platform, Social Platforms and first party data database.
Designs and leads the implementation of digital marketing processes and best practices to support brand management to maximize brand campaigns, including performance marketing, Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO)
Leads and supervises the planning and execution of multi-channel media campaigns in tight collaboration with the Brand Managers, including the use of marketing mix predictive models, establishing and measuring pre-defined Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
Works with Global marketing to adapt and apply global guidelines for media booking and data-driven marketing
Identifies and selects the external agencies in collaboration with Global Marketing and Procurement, designs and leads the collaboration process with the external partners and evaluates their performance.
Steers the media booking agencies and the annual media planning process to optimize the brands’ media mix. Leads the media investments to its best performance in a continuous improvement iterative process.
Drives efficiency and effectiveness of our offline/online Mix and the growing Programmatic spend, ultimately driving incremental sales.
Manages and owns digital marketing and media budget and supports the Brand Mangers in optimizing and managing their brands’ budget
Builds and accelerates broader organizational capability in Digital Marketing, offline & online media both for Consumer and Vet brands and develops training and education for the US Marketing and sales organization.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree
10+ years experience in Marketing, Media Booking with expertise in pure Digital Media and in Direct Customer Relationship tools
Minimum 5 years experience managing people.
Proven track record in media booking and conversion, including solid knowledge in TV booking, programmatic booking, multi-variant testing, affinity/contextual/behavioral targeting, search, DCO, DMP, CDP, CRM, e-commerce and econometric testing.
Strong leadership; can work and involve effectively different stakeholders, drive for decision making, conflict management and executional skills
Strong strategic thinking; can elaborate future scenarios and strategies to develop the digital ecosystem and to develop successful multichannel communication campaigns.
Innovative and visionary thinking for scenarios and strategies to develop the digital ecosystem and to develop successful multichannel communication campaigns.
Analytical and data driven
Ability to translate marketing strategies and communication objectives into multichannel communication campaigns including Programmatic Buying and Search tactics, tracking results and continuously improving performance.
Strong Project management skills and capable of agile working methods

Ability to make complex concepts simple, adapting communication to diverse audiences

Additional Skills/Preferences
Masters and/or MBA
Experience preferably in large, complex, multi-national organizations or leading global media agencies
CPG experience
Broader experience within marketing and sales e.g. Brand Management, ECommerce for a broader view on all marketing aspects beyond Digital marketing and Media.
