SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Physician Assistant is a skilled person, qualified academic and clinical education to provide for patient services under the supervision of a staff physician.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Scheduled Days / Hours: Per Diem, with rotating to other shifts;
Education:
Graduation from an approved course of study.
Experience:
Experience acceptable to the State Board of Medical Examiners.
Required License/Certifications/ Registration:
NJ Physician Assistant License
NCCPA certification is required
Certificate in Specialty area as needed.
Current BLS certification.
Other Qualifications:
Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Prescriptive practice is based on the development of written joint protocols with collaborating physician.
These protocols are reviewed, updated and signed yearly.
Receives approval from the Credentialing Committee.
