Job Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE

The Procurement intern will assist the Dole Procurement Team on special projects that include but are not limited to 1) Contract Management System 2) Item Master 3) Business Intelligence Tool 4) Ad Hoc data analysis and 5) Other Projects as required. This includes, but is not limited to, data analysis, analytics, data mapping, preparing (meta) data load files and templates with accuracy to meet project timelines.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION

-

The intern will compile and provide 400+ contracts, work orders, COI's, NDA's etc. along with (meta) data field templates (by Category) to Laser Fiche for load into the Contract Management Tool.

- The intern will map 40K+ Dole Fresh Vegetable items to the updated Dole Taxonomy/Hierarchy in JDE.

- The intern will load test data for Masterpack, Janitorial and PBT (Power, Bearings, Transmission) to build a data warehouse and data tables into a Business Intelligence Tool resulting in a BI Prototype that will be used for Period Reviews.

- The intern will support data analysis for various categories as required.

- Design and Provide Recommendations for Reporting for Business Reviews (from the BI Tool) such as PPV, Cash Discounts, Credit Memo, Obsolescence, Open PO's, Supplier Scorecard, and Roque Spend.

- Support the project plan (3W) to improve the BPMS process and tool (Price/Quantity Variances, et.al.)

- Support Fresh Pack RPC (Reusable Plastic Container) Weekly Tracking and Reporting (Recovery).

- Shadow Cross-Functional Teams to develop Desktop (Step by Step) Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), and Training Documents.

- Help load data tables and/or Design/Visualize Data for10 KPI's for the BI Tool.

- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

- Fall 2021 Junior or Senior college student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Sourcing, Supply Chain, Finance or Business Administration degree(s) with a concentration in Supply Chain or related degree.
