RTI's Commercial Payer-Provider Health Business Unit has an
opening for a senior leader to develop our Healthcare Data Analytics practice
area. The Healthcare Data Analytics practice area supports healthcare payers,
including health insurance plans and employers, healthcare providers and other
healthcare sectors by using advanced analytical methods and techniques to
develop innovative solutions that help our clients improve healthcare outcomes,
patient experience and implement value based innovations.

In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic
development of the healthcare data analytics practice area including client
relationship management and business development with private sector
(non-government) clients including health insurance plans, employers, health
systems and providers.

You will be expected to develop and lead projects that
integrate claims, clinical and other health-relevant data to perform advanced
healthcare data analytics. The
healthcare data analytics practice area will also develop analytic tools to
enable population health management, the collection and use of
patient-generated data, clinical decision support tools, electronic care plans
and other digital health innovations.

You will lead analytics discussions with clients and will
represent RTI at conferences and professional meetings and lead development of
papers and presentations. This role requires both experience with clinical and
other types of health and social data working on behalf of healthcare payers
and providers and deep experience in the development, implementation, and
evaluation of analytic platforms for clinical and care management
interventions.

Additional responsibilities will include but not be limited
to:

- Work collaboratively with client engagement
team to ensure high quality client relationship management
- Design and develop health data analytics tools
and methods including data visualizations and dashboarding (e.g., integration
and analysis of clinical and claims data and other data sets (social
determinants, patient-generated health data, wearables/device, etc.)

Qualifications:

- Graduate degree in health data analytics, data
science, statistics, computational science, or a relevant discipline.
- 8 years of relevant work experience within the
healthcare industry
- 5+ years' experience successfully leading teams
to business and revenue goal attainment
- Significant experience identifying, managing,
and developing talent
- Demonstrated experience in client relationship
management and business development,
- Demonstrated experience developing
publications, papers, and presentations at national conferences
- Significant project management experience that
includes responsibility for budgets, adherence to timelines, and interacting
with and presenting to senior-level executives
- Experience using statistical software such as
SAS, Stata, or R to analyze healthcare claims data and experience with multiple
data platforms
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
and should not require now, or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa
status.

Skill Requirements:

- Ability to work with cloud computing
environments and using leading-edge data technology and data science tools
- Capability to work with healthcare datasets,
including all-payer claims and enrollment data, clinical data,
patient-generated health data, wearables, and devices, and use of FHIR
standards.
- Demonstrated experience in the development of
product-based approaches to the delivery of analytics and data science
- Proven situational leadership skills and the
ability to motivate and generate enthusiasm with individuals across all levels
of the organization
- Excellent communication skills including the
ability to concisely explain complicated concepts to executives within and
outside of the firm
- Ability to analyze and understand healthcare
trends from the perspective of multiple stakeholders and translate related
business implications
- Experience building and leading large,
multi-disciplinary teams
- Commitment to working in a team environment
with an emphasis on collaboration and deepening client relationships

Preferred:

- Experience with the acquisition and integration
of a broad array of datasets to fuel effective machine learning algorithms
- Prior consulting experience
- Training in Machine learning and Artificial
Intelligence
