We are looking for Direct Care Professionals to work with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities in one of our many residential or day habilitation programs. May Center for Adult Services is currently seeking compassionate and qualified Bilingual Direct Support Professionals to work directly with adults with autism and other developmental disabilities at our residential program in Chicopee, MA.

Full & Part time positions available.

Hourly rate for this position is $14.00.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-
Skill development and community integration

-
Assisting individuals in meeting their personal care & nutritional needs

-
Behavioral interventions

-
Participating in the development of IEP/ISP objectives and documenting consumer progress

-
Dispensing medications (certification is available)

QUALIFICATIONS

-
Previous behavioral experience strongly preferred

-
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred

-
Strong verbal and written communication skills

-
Valid driver's license with at least 2 years driving experience

-
Previous human services experience is strongly preferred

-
Bilingual Skills-Fluency in English & Spanish required
