The QA Analyst is responsible for solution delivery activities specifically related to verification and validation of application/product related changes as well as the development and maintenance of Quality policies, procedures and standards to support those activities. They will develop and maintain test suites and cases, test execution and supporting validation activities throughout the SDLC. In addition, they will be responsible for supporting test environment management activities, test tool management, metrics, reporting and continually identifying opportunities for improvement as well as implementing solutions. This individual must have a strong understanding of health insurance payment (claims, capitation, or commissions) processing, paper and electronic remittance advice, member/group enrollment, billing, data profiling, Software Development Life Cycles, Quality Assurance testing activities, and supporting test methodologies.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree required. Three (3) years relevant experience may be substituted for degree.
- Certification through the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) at the foundation level (CTFL) or above preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Test Maturity Model Integration (TMMi) preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years healthcare insurance programs, processes, configuration and/or claims processing, or customer service experience with specialization in benefits, pricing, and provider configuration is required.
- Minimum two (2) years experience in testing complex applications required.
- Minimum five (5) years of overall QA and software testing experience with an understanding of functional, integration, system, and regression testing preferred.
- Two (2) years' experience with a test management tool - such as QA Symphony (preferred) or other tool (considered).
- A minimum of two (2) years' experience writing intermediate level SQL queries.
- Experience with Trizetto applications, such as Facets, is preferred.
- Understanding of all types of health insurance enrollment, billing, and document management processing including, but not limited to, individual, group, governmental, and broker.
- Knowledge of healthcare and HMO processes, rules, regulations, enrollment/eligibility guidelines and reporting requirements for HMO, PPO, ASO, Medicare, Medicaid, Family Health Plus, and Child Health Plus, and provider payment methodologies.
- Demonstrated understanding of data warehouse concepts is required, especially relational database, business intelligence, and development processes.
- Understanding of automated software testing and demonstrated experience with developing a test automation strategy required.
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Excel required.
- Applied knowledge of use cases required.
- Experience setting up, monitoring, and analyzing servers for load and performance testing a plus.
