An exciting opportunity has arisen to join PA's Marketing team, responsible for generating content which reinforces PA's key brand and purpose messaging to our target markets and clients in the US. Content means a lot of different things to different people. In this context, the candidate will create content that engages and influences our communities and clients. To date we do that through three 'types' of content which are re-purposed across channel and format - these are opinion pieces, client stories and research-based thought leadership.

This role entails several responsibilities:

- Create and deliver a content marketing strategy for the US market

- work with the wider global marketing team to create a content channel strategy that aligns our content with our target audiences and delivers excellent ROI. Strategy will identify market relevant themes that position PA as thought leaders in the market

- ensure all content adheres to our editorial guidelines and is publication ready before it's live.

- Continually improve the quality and effectiveness of our thought leadership

- continue to differentiate PA against the competition by producing insight not available elsewhere in the market

- focus on primary (qualitative and quantitative) and secondary research that meets our various audience needs including PR and wider communities of interest

- stay abreast of competitors and wider industry, monitoring content best practice to ensure PA is at the forefront of the debate on major business issues.

- Create outstanding content for our digital channels

- take responsibility for keeping core pages on our US website current with cutting-edge content

- assume day-to-day management of PA's US social media channels including commissioning content designed to engage and grow our audiences.

- Drive cultural change and be a beacon of content best practice within the team

- remain sensitive to business and marketing needs while also using superb stakeholder management and influencing skills to change attitude, behavior and ultimately investment decisions, to get the best outcome from our content efforts.

- Maintain external relationships with our content agencies

- work closely with external agencies and freelancers such as Source Research

- B2B content marketing knowledge and outstanding writing and editing skills

- experience creating compelling content that engages targeted audiences

- capable of translating technical language and concepts into compelling prose

- digitally savvy with experience writing for the web and creating innovative content for social media

- possess experience conducting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative research

- enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to producing quality work. Excellent prioritization and time management skills are critical, as is a proactive approach to problem solving

- comfortable giving direction and feedback to colleagues across the organization

- able to motivate and inspire others to produce outstanding work

- always wishing to push the envelope and find new, innovative ways to get the job done

- brilliant collaborator, able to work with teams across the organization.
