Description

The Human Capital (HC) Training and Development Lead will create, develop, implement, and conduct training and development programs for employees. Supports the Human Capital Director on all cultivation programs management and administration. Ultimately, this person is responsible for being the relationship champion within the company.

The HC Training and Development Lead duties include, but are not limited to:

- Training and Development: Identifies training desires and needs of the workforce, assists with facilitation of group training, conducts research and tasks in support of internal training and development programs.

- Designs and implements process of organizational planning that evaluates company structure, job design, and personnel forecasting throughout the company. Evaluates plans and changes to plans.

- Employee Support: Provides training and development and succession planning guidance and support to all employees.

- Cultivation Management Support: works closely with the HC Director on the management and design of company-wide processes and organization development that addresses issues such as employee success and retention, organizational development, performance management, and any other employee related program development. This includes Burn Blue Program Administration.

- Ascentis Talent Management System Program Management: includes Performance Management, Learning Management, Succession Planning modules/systems.

- Learning Management: works closely with program managers and employees on how to use system and track education, certifications, etc.

- Performance Management: works closely with program managers and employees through the performance management program - defining goals and measurable outcomes, performance standards, and other key components of the e-Performance system. Is the subject matter expert on our Performance Management system.

- Succession & Career Planning Development: Works closely with Director of HC on developing a success career pathway that align to individual employee goals and incorporates into retention strategy.

- HC Program Management Support:

- Assists with a variety of HC organizational objectives set by Leadership that ultimately align HC programs with the strategic goals of the company.

- Willingness to support all HC divisions (Talent Acquisitions, Benefits, Cultivation) program objectives.

- Metrics and Analysis: Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment.

Position Requirements

- Experience in a complex multi-state employer environment.

- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.

- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.

- Ability to design and implement effective training and development.

- A sincere passion for CULTURE and relationships, combined with similar passion for details, process improvement, and accuracy required.

- Will be the Relationship Champion within the company.

Professional Business Functions

- Available to work before/after typical office hours as work may demand

- Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy

- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

- Superior verbal/written skills and presentation skills

Years of Experience/Education Requirements

- Bachelors degree in related field required with a minimum of five (5) year experience in HR or administrative setting; Associates and six (6) years of related professional experience in a related discipline

- No supervisory experience required .

Clearance

- No Clearance Required.

- Ability to obtain a Top-Secret/SCI government security clearance is desired

Certification Requirements

- SHRM-HR certification desired

Travel

- This position will have significant travel. Approximately 50%.

- Will travel to customer sites, CONUS, to support all training and cultivation programs.
