OVERVIEW

American Fire, a CHA Company, is a highly specialized provider of fire protection engineering, installation, service, inspection, and commissioning services throughout the world. American Fire manages complex industrial, commercial and design/build fire protection projects, including sprinkler systems, fire pumps, ground storage tanks, underground piping, and special hazards.

CHA, is currently seeking Sprinkler Technician - Foreman to join our American Fire Team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sprinkler Technician - Foreman are responsible for the complete installation of fire sprinkler systems in commercial and industrial buildings according to standards. The successful candidate will assemble and install a variety of metal pipes, tubes, and fittings, including iron, steel, copper; install and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipment such as pumps and tanks. The Sprinkler Technician - Foreman manages an on-site work crew of varying size, depending on the project; and performs final inspections with local, state and county AHJ's.

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE

High School Diploma or equivalent work experience is required
- OSHA 30 Training required or must obtain within 30 days of employment. AFP will pay for training.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

- A minimum of 5 years' industry experience required
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to read blueprints and redline fab drawings
- Ability to perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as working within ducts, crawl spaces, climbing a ladder, outside in the heat or cold, on lift equipment, or dirty environments.
