This is a time at Gordon Food Service where strategies for growth in our business will allow us to continue to pivot as a leader in the food service industry. This has presented an opportunity for us to onboard a Business Change Manager for our North American Sales & Marketing team. This role will be instrumental in leading cross-functional change by aligning people, process and technology to improve business performance and drive innovative solutions. The Business Change Manager will plan, coordinate, and lead key initiatives ( including project development, facility development, and strategic execution) while providing business support, serving as a technology and business advocate. How will you impact the business?
- Supports Strategy Development: Assists North American transformational leadership and/or US Distribution leadership with defining strategies (and associated projects) within Sales in order to achieve the company's long-range objectives.
- Leads Strategic Execution: Engages and leads cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, establish requirements, develop change transition plans and implement business solutions to deliver intended results.
- Designs Business Processes: Coordinates and/or performs the analysis, design, development, and measurement of business processes in partnership with subject matter experts and business owners.
- Develops Business Cases: Coordinates and develops business cases and financial analysis for assigned projects; conducts post project evaluation and measurement to ensure defined business results are achieved.
- Manages Business Transition: Acts as an agent of change to build commitment and overcome resistance while preparing and supporting those affected by such changes. Developes workable implementation plans, communicates changes effectively, and supports training development. Engages peer leadership, monitors transitions and evaluates results.
- Standard Practices: Collaborates with business and technical leadership to identify, prioritize, document and implement standard practices.
- Manages Product Portfolio Roadmaps and Release Priorities: Creates and maintains product roadmaps by engaging technical and business resources to maintain 3-5 year roadmaps for areas of responsibility; including but not limited to new technology, evergreening opportunities, process enhancements and strategic plans. Prioritize projects to identify resources and plan project details for AOP and facilitates the planning and prioritization of system releases with business and technical leadership.

Our Ideal Candidate will have:
- Minimum of five years of previous leadership and management in related fields and/or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Functional knowledge in: Commercial Sales, Non-commercial Sales, Chain Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Change Management: understands practical application of change management best practices to minimize negative impact on people and ensure succession change adoption. Integrates standard processes, technology and culture using proven change management tactics and activities.
- Understanding of Technology: understanding of technology, systems and applications and how they can improve business performance.
- Self Management: self-directed, motivated, ability to prioritize and manage fluctuations in workload and changes in priority, comfortable with ambiguity.
- Office productivity tools, such as Microsoft office suite, SmartSheets, Google applications, email and Internet.
