Reports to the Executive Director Supply Chain Services. Under general supervision and in accordance with established policies and procedures, delivers inter-company mail and lab specimens for processing at the lab.

Education and Experience
The knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated below are normally acquired through the successful completion of a high school diploma (or equivalent) and a minimum of two years of customer service related experience. Candidates must have a current driver's license and a good driving record. Previous courier experience preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
Must have the ability to drive a vehicle safely for extended periods of time.
Demonstrates the interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) necessary to articulate ideas clearly and concisely, to develop and maintain positive working relationships and to interact effectively with a wide range of internal and external contacts in a variety of situations.
Requires the ability to read, understand and follow instructions, including the ability to comprehend technical and medical terminology.
Exposure to various weather conditions while driving and making stops on assigned route.
Heavy lifting required at times.
Work involves handling of bio-hazardous materials.
Requires the physical ability and stamina (i.e., to walk and climb stairs extensively, to lift approximately 30 lbs., etc.) to perform the essential functions of the position.
