This position will be responsible for providing personnel support related to staff and student worker employees in the School of Medicine (SoM) Office of the Dean. The individual will provide guidance to office managers in collaboration with the Administrative Manager and provide recommendations based on university policies and procedures. This position will manage and maintain personnel files and documents. Responsibilities include assisting with School of Medicine HR liaison duties, managing Child Protection Clearances, serving as the liaison for medical leaves, and payroll reconciliation and support. The incumbent will serve as an advisor for various system access and will provide guidance and respond to inquiries posed by the SoM Departments. This position serves as the first point of contact for the Med- Office of the Dean, Office of Finance and Administration and will provide general office administrative support, including the ordering of supplies. The employee must be able to work independently and serve faculty, staff, and students in a professional and courteous manner. The individual should display strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
University personnel and payroll experience, preferred. Combination of education and relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education. Prior human resources experience helpful.
