The Collections Product Analytics team is looking for a talented, highly motivated individual with strong data analysis skills in support of the Customer Collections Journey. The Collections Product Analytics team is part of the Customer & Channel Analytics Team and is responsible for data and analysis in support of the collections journey re-design.

As a Sr. Analyst you will work as a member of a cross-functional team to improve the collections experience for our customers. You will be responsible for working collaboratively across partners in the Collections Product team: Finance, Customer Experience, UX/UI Design, Software Engineering, & Product Owners. You will have the opportunity to work on the end-to-end analytics of the Collections Journey: building and updating the business case, analysis scoping, hypothesis development, data gathering, performance analysis, generating insights and participating in developing presentations of findings.

Responsibilities:


  • Work as a member of agile, digital, tribes or scrum teams to provide data and analytics support for new product development
  • Build holistic insights using a mix of customer, account, digital, financial and operational data sets
  • Import, clean, transform and validate data from multiple sources in preparation for analytics and/or modeling
  • Develop business cases, size addressable populations & estimate potential impact on proposed measurement plans
  • Scope, implement & track new features and enhancements to the collections journey
  • Identify customer interactions and events across a variety of channels to better understand customer journeys and friction points
  • Leverage a variety of analytical and statistical applications (ClickFox, Alteryx, Trifacta, Excel, SQL, Python, etc.) to describe, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns in complex data sets.
  • Aid in presentations summarizing sharp insights and conclusions, often for executives

Qualifications and Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience doing hands-on data analysis
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, data analysis, and segmentation techniques
  • Experience with Business Intelligence and analytical tools such as SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, Web Analytics (ClickFox/Adobe Analytics/Good Analytics), R or Python nice to have
  • Self-sufficiency in querying and extracting data from Enterprise databases (Teradata, Hadoop, Greenplum, Oracle etc)
  • Experience with financial business cases a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Operational knowledge of Collections & Recovery a plus
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree is desired with preferred concentrations in Math, Statistics, Economics or similar quantitative disciplines
