US Garnishments Team Member at JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. in Newark, Delaware

Job Description:

As a US payroll garnishments team member you will be responsible for ensuring garnishments are accurately deducted from employee pay. You will be partnering closely with our garnishment vendor, ADP and other internal teams. You will be joining the team during a pivotal time as we transition the payroll function to Oracle HCM, which will require critical thinking, dynamic problem-solving, flexibility, and ownership mentality.

Responsibilities


  • Execute garnishment execution and wage withholding processing
  • Partner with ADP to ensure garnishments are deducted from employees paychecks
  • Provide oversight of notarizing and validating sworn documents
  • Interpret and make necessary correction(s) to garnishment documents
  • Maintain awareness of, and research federal, state and local tax & garnishment laws

Requirements

  • Knowledge of federal and state governing wage and hour laws and garnishment laws
  • Strong risk management and controls mindset
  • Ability to collaborate in a team oriented environment across teams and vendors
  • Willingness / ability to go above and beyond / problem solve
  • Ability to handle highly confidential/sensitive data information
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage a high volume of workflow through peak volume periods
  • Good judgement and decision making skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous Oracle HCM experience preferred
