Senior, System Engineer at AT&T in SCHAUMBURG, Illinois

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Network Systems Team!  You will join a global team of managed services WLAN engineers.  In this role you’ll work with pre/post sales, potential customers, existing customers and the operations team including solution design, development, implementation, production application support (e.g., troubleshooting) and maintenance.  

Details:
Lead complex projects from beginning to end within AT&T, while closely collaborating with Global Enterprise Customers such as Fortune 100 companies.  

Minimum:

• 5-8 years of experience on Network Access Control technologies such as Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE) and Aruba Clearpass and willingness to learn Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNA)
• Experience with leading complex projects from beginning to end

Technologies:

• In depth knowledge of wired and wireless engineering in design, build, testing, operations, debugging and cross-organizational orchestration skills
• Technologies – Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE); Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNA); WiFi (Guest, NAC, Posturing, Profiling, TrustSec and TACACS); Linux VM; Scripting

Deployment and support:

• Experience in global enterprise deployments
• Self-driven, take charge individual that can work independently with minimal supervision

Certification, Experience, and Education:

• CWNA certification or equivalent
• Cisco certification: CCIE Wireless or equivalent
• Aruba certification: ACCP (ClearPass) or equivalent

Preferred:

• Working experience with network access control (posture and profiling)
• Azure knowledge
• Aruba Clearpass and Airwave
• Azure certification
