Job Description:

The Firmwide Operational Risk Capital and Stress Testing (FORCAST) is a Risk Group within Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk Management(CCOR), reporting up to the Head of Compliance and Operational Risk. FORCAST is responsible for Firmwide Operational Risk Measurement and Operational Risk Management for International Legal entities and covers the mandate of Operational Risk Capital Calculation, Operational Risk Stress testing (CCAR/DFAST), and Scenario Analysis.

The Business Management team, within FORCAST, is seeking an Associate to help drive the business initiatives with a specific focus on process improvement, as well as strategic development across the FORCAST organization. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, team player, self-starter and result driven.

Key Responsibilities:

§ Lead the development and analysis of key operational metrics

§ Support the strategic implementation of key business functions across FORCAST

§ Develop relationships and partner with members of the FORCAST team, LOB/Function aligned Operational Risk Officer teams and Control Management to help drive initiatives

§ Manage communication of business-related issues to key stakeholders and Senior Management

§ Perform the annual QA on Scenario Analysis and Stress Testing data for CCAR

§ Provide support to Senior Business Manager in the coordination of activities across the team, including

o support for presentations to internal and external audiences, including data analysis

o coordination and tracking of key deliverables across different teams

o supporting cross-LOB operational risk initiatives, as appropriate

Governance:

§ Participate in the Monthly FORCAST Control Dashboard presentation

§ Participate in the annual review and update of Procedures and Process Maps

§ Manage the annual User Tool confirmation process

§ Manage the end to end FORCAST Record Retention program

§ Participate and represent FORCAST in the monthly CCOR Records Management Governance Forum meetings. Communicate all new requirements to the FORCAST organization

§ Lead and participate in the development of internal/ad-hoc projects, control related projects and regulatory deliverables

Qualifications & Skills:

§ Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related discipline

§ Experience in financial services preferably in Risk, Compliance, Audit or Controls

§ Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills

§ Motivated, self-starter

§ A high-level of attention to detail and quality assurance

§ Process re-engineering experience - strong efficiency and control mindset

§ Demonstrated ability to build relationships with individuals at all levels, including senior management

§ Excellent communication (written and verbal) and strong influencing skills with ability to challenge the status quo, gain consensus and drive change

§ Strategic and independent thinker with ability to frame end to end solutions and execute

§ Experience presenting information in differing degrees of detail and form, depending on the audience

§ Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and commitment to deliver under tight deadlines

§ Advanced in Excel and Proficient in MS Word, MS Power Point is a must
