District Overview

Kiewit Equipment Services (KES) helps to ensure the profitability of Kiewit projects through the improved equipment utilization and mechanical reliability by delivering world-class equipment and service.

Location

This position will be based out of Vancouver, WA. This is a shared service environment in a professional office setting.

Responsibilities

Vehicle Registration and Licensing

  • Manage fleet license in 9 states 2200 vehicles

  • Work with projects on inspections, VIN verifications and emission related requirements.
    California Portable Equipment Registration Program (PERP)

  • Register new equipment that fall under the regulation

  • Schedule initial CARB inspection

  • Monitor renewals

  • Annual reporting
    DOT Assessment Coordination

  • Set up Mitigation Action Plan (MAP) for new projects

  • Perform office portion of DOT assessments

  • Complete assessment documentation

  • Annual UCR filing

  • Annual Haz-Mat license
    Equipment Sales

  • Set up Schedule A for auctions

  • Coordinate titles to auction house
    Office Management

  • Support Regional equipment manger

  • Manage Sharepoint page

    Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Experience managing direct reports

  • Knowledge of payroll regulations (ie. tax, garnishments, union benefits, internal controls)

  • 2+ years experience in, regulatory compliance, and process improvement

  • SAP experience a plus

  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

  • Must be able to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish work

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to solve unique problems with creative solutions

  • Strong communication skills

  • Vigorous understanding of the interrelationship among processes, risks and controls

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications required
