As a Pharmacy Technician you will use your skills and compassion in caring for our patients as an integral part of the hospital pharmacy team. Members of that team consider themselves a family where each member works hard to support each other. We are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role:

* You will be responsible for maintaining medication storage and security.

* You will interact with hospital personnel both in person and by phone.

* You will accurately package and prepare medications for dispensing.

* You will transport medications and supplies to various areas of the hospital.

* You will perform daily Automated Dispensing Cabinet routines as assigned.

* You will help manage drug supplies in a cost effective manner and identify opportunities to minimize waste.

QUALIFICATIONS LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

* Active licensed pharmacy technician in good standing, as per State of Utah requirements

* National Certification (CPhT) preferred, not required

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

* Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred

* Must be able to read, write and speak English
