Job Summary:
The Central Sterile Processing Technician is an individual who, after comprehensive training, is qualified to prepare sterile supplies from decontamination, assembling, packaging, sterilization and storage of instruments, stock supplies and prepares equipment for use in surgery and other areas of the hospital. The central sterile processing technician supports the hospital mission, values, and visions.

With 126 beds, TriStar Southern Hills is an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI and a Primary Stroke Center. QUALIFICATIONS
* Sterile processing experience preferred.
* High School Diploma/GED.
* It is required that the individual must have successfully passed a nationally accredited central service exam for Central Service Technicians and hold and maintain a Certified Registered Central Service Technician credential administered by the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management or a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician credential administered by the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution, Inc.
