Position Summary:
Responsible for performing a wide range of food service duties. Works under moderate supervision and is expected to solve problems by reference to job flows or established work procedures, to assure quality service standards.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Work requires a high school level of educational development and one year of previous experience, preferably in food service and possessing knowledge related to different diet types. Computer skills preferred (to perform menu selections.)
* No certification, registration or licensure required.
* Work requires the skills to read and understand instructions, add and subtract numbers, and make comparisons between numbers and letters.
* Work requires the ability to understand and respond to simple written or verbal instructions. Incumbents must respond appropriately to instructions, questions, or requests for information. Work requires contact with patients and/or visitors which involve courtesy.
Shift:
Day Shift, Part Time (20 hours per week)
