The Senior Product Manager will join the Servicing Product domain focusing on leadership for the Maintenance and Self Service product area. The individual will be responsible for driving the vision, roadmap, and direction for the products and related initiatives. The Senior Product Manager will be the internal and external champion driving the development and market penetration of our self service capabilities and maintenance automation. They will focus on driving improvements to the client journey, development of the product roadmap, and leading a cross functional team to deliver interconnected product capabilities across business units to drive value to the firm. This position requires a collaborative individual capable of understanding and navigating the impact of new processes, products, enhancements, and brand mandate implications across multiple systems. The role will be responsible for demonstrating significant industry experience and managing the product adoption goals. The role includes direct management of two Product Managers.

This highly collaborative position requires an individual who has demonstrable strong end-to-end product and/or operations management and a proven history of successful product delivery and team leadership. The ideal candidate understands that product management is cross-functional and involves business development, strategic thinking, market research, client journey optimization, client interaction, experience design, architecture, resource planning and general awareness of goals versus constraints. The Senior Product Manager will need to drive the balance between the ideal product and the minimum viable product always thinking ahead for how best to improve the client experience.

Responsibilities:


  • Strategic thinking on self service solutions and strategy
  • Drive process and technical improvements to our self service and maintenance capabilities
  • Work with other senior leaders in the Product organization to develop and execute a roadmap for Merchant Services to deliver product capabilities necessary to maintain a leading acquiring position, both domestically and internationally
  • Establish thought leadership and client-centric vision for market changes and servicing industry impacts
  • Support of agile development process
  • Inclusive leadership with cross functional partners, and clients to understand merchant/client needs, changes in industry landscape, and help drive solutions that are meaningful for clients
  • Interfacing with sales, sales support, marketing and operations partners to engage customers and inform customers of the detailed features and functionality of Wholesale Payments products and platforms
  • Helping customers solve problems and craft viable solutions that can be delivered to market
  • Supporting all controls and compliance requirements and ensuring that all pre and post launch conditions are met in order to release product on time and within budget
  • Identifying performance metrics and managing to successful outcomes
  • Creating and delivering customer experiences that delight and positively influence customer and employee NPS
  • Structure and present reporting and updates to senior management
  • Identify issues quickly, escalate and bring to closure, with a critical focus on client experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5+ years of product management and development, leadership, or related experience
  • Payments expertise preferred - including disputes, servicing, acquiring, processing, or issuing
  • In-depth understanding of the payments process and payments landscape (merchants, brands, acquirers, gateways, third party providers, etc.)
  • Proven ability to drive and deliver a successful Product Roadmap
  • Experience developing product strategy and establishing product positioning
  • Leadership experience as well as strong organizational skills to plan, organize and schedule resources
  • Ability to develop creative solutions to achieve goals
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Computer science / systems development expertise
  • Understanding of product development lifecycle and deployment of new payment solutions
  • Process improvement and client journey mapping
  • Talent for communication of complex business topics
  • General business acumen
  • Team player capability of building relationships and collaborating across the organization
