Job Description:

FULL-TIME TEMPORARY • Performs research tasks under the direction of licensed professional (RN, MD) to assure quality research practices in compliance with TNMC/UNMC policies and federal regulations while following the protocol. Maintains a safe and orderly environment for research participants. • Demonstrates safe use of medical equipment. Provides direct support for the preparation, conduct and follow-up tasks associated with research study visits, performs phlebotomy, processes samples and ships them to the appropriate site. Performs CLIA waived lab testing, vital signs, ECG, study drug reconciliation accurately. • Screens study participants by reviewing appropriate medical records and research documents maintaining strict confidentiality with regards to patient and study information. Interacts with participants in an friendly and inviting way while meeting their age-specific needs. Travels to internal and external healthcare settings to assist with research activities. • Contributes to timely and accurate data collection and documentation. Troubleshoots if there are problems to solve but seeks assistance and input when appropriate. Keeps coordinator and manager informed.Omaha, NE
