Job Description:

POSITION: SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST
Summary:
Responsible for various operational, reporting and analytical functions in the Finance and Treasury area, specifically related to asset/liability and economic value of equity modeling, net interest income forecasting and budgeting, capital planning, stress testing and forecasting. This individual will play an active role in supporting the Bank's Treasury and Profitability functions as well as other areas as may be needed, such as Project Management, Risk Management and Data Analytics areas.

Key Result Areas:
-
Responsible to produce monthly asset sensitivity simulations including economic value of equity modeling utilizing BASIS asset/liability management software. Analyze and document all assumptions, conclusions, results and recommendations for further strategic action. Follow industry best practices on model production, documentation and reporting. Act as the Bank's specialist in the use of the BASIS asset/liability system.

Provide additional modeling and analysis as needed in support of strategic initiatives, growth, acquisitions, new products, changing economic environments, compliance with regulatory expectations and various levels of stress testing.

Play a key role in the evaluation and selection of a replacement asset/liability software systems and profitability systems. Lead and manage the implementation of newly selected asset/liability software.

Working in conjunction with the Profitability department, produce and analyze net interest income projections using multiple scenarios for use in the annual budget process and multi-year strategic plan process.

Work with senior management in capital planning, merger and acquisition analysis and due diligence, forecasting and reporting.

Assist Treasury department in the areas of liquidity management and funds settlement, as needed.

Assist Treasury department in the area of credit analysis, pre-purchase risk analysis, and processing related to the Bank's investment securities portfolio, as needed.

Direction and management oversight could originate from the CFO, COO, Treasury Manager or Profitability Manager, so a degree of flexibility and accountability is required as various financial projects are assigned to this position.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Bank senior managers and other employees

Contribute to the effective team management of all Bank initiatives, issues, and opportunities.

Perform additional duties as may be required.
Qualifications:
-
BS degree, preferably in finance or economics, advance degree a plus

Minimum of 5 years of banking experience in a treasury/finance environment

Strong understanding of bank asset/ liability management required
-
3 - 5 years of strong working experience and knowledge of bank asset/liability management, software and systems
-
Technical proficiency in the use of various systems and software, to include at a minimum, Microsoft Excel and data management software systems

Strong analytical and communication skills
-
Ability to work independently and collaborate across business lines and support areas with minimal supervision

Effective prioritization and time-management skills and comfortable meeting strict deadlines
