Position Responsibilities:


  • Drive the monthly financial close process for location

  • Create financial models to predict performance and prepare a monthly forecast

  • Analyze monthly financial performance versus expectations

  • Drive the annual planning process by interacting with branch to build a bottom-up budget while establishing business case that help support the annual operating goals

  • Establish monthly processes to review and analyze performance

  • Work with the client to create action plans to mitigate variances to plan

  • Serve as a key business partner to the general manager and area vice-president related to financial support and train manages to understand financial implications, tools, etc.

  • Participate in various special hoc projects providing research and analysis as well as solutions

  • Establish and ensure continuous improvement of best practices within the area and across the organization

  • Work with other finance managers to take the area FP&A forward in terms of efficiency and support provided to operations staff.


Qualifications

Position requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or related field required; MBA a plus

  • 5-7 years finance experience in a corporate and/or financial advisory environment

  • Significant financial experience usingfinancial/ERP systems

  • Comfort with standard finance and accounting methods

  • Broad business knowledge, organizational awareness, and an understanding of business profitability drivers

  • Comfort with standard finance and accounting methods

  • Proven analytic and quantitative decision-making skills

  • Strong project management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills

  • A passion for interacting in a positive and creative manner with customers and team members with the goal of developing effective partnerships

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interface efficiently with all levels of management - ability to provide clear, concise explanations of complex problems to management

  • Strong work ethic and results orientation required for fast paced, customer-focused environment

  • High degree of self-motivation and ability to work with limited supervision
