Job Description:

The Mortgage Support Specialist is responsible for reviewing title related documents for all Managed Vendors to ensure they meet Chase requirements and match MPX data. The Support Specialist works with the customer related vendor items and ensures the required document is updated prior to closing.

• Entry level specialist role supporting business operations

• Supports business processes and works in a specialized function/role

• Approach problems logically and with good judgment to ensure the appropriate outcome

• Effectively prioritize work to ensure efficiency

• Conduct research as needed

• Critical thinker and ability to exercise independent judgment

• Accuracy and attention to detail

• Required to abide by all applicable regulatory and department practices and procedures

Qualifications:


  • Mortgage knowledge preferred not required
  • 1 + years of mortgage servicing experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; telephone etiquette
  • Strong initiative to research and find solutions
  • Proven proficiency with Microsoft suite, specifically MS Word, Excel, & Access
  • Ability to effectively plan and prioritize
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities effectively and efficiently
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to set and achieve challenging goals
  • Effectively and professionally represent yourself, your department, and your manager; always presenting one's self as a credit to JPMorgan Chase
  • Possess ability to build and maintain rapport with customers, colleagues, peers, and other departments
