Job Description:

The Valuations Fulfillment Team is responsible for placing orders and tracking to completion any valuations needed for the line of business. Valuations must be completed within the established SLAs and in conformance of policies and procedures. This position is within the Fulfillment team and will be responsible for communicating with the Appraisal Management Companies (AMCs), Lines of Business, and Collateral Analyst to resolve any issues that may arise which may include but are not limited to: Legal descriptions, collateral types, actual property location, encroachments, easements, and title issues.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (in order of importance)

Relationship Management:

• Executes a formal approach to understanding, defining, and supporting a broad spectrum of inter-business activities related to providing and consuming goods, knowledge, and services with a network of front and back office operations

• Fosters an environment of positive reinforcement to build strong relationships and an ongoing self-improvement to the level of quality and service.

• Makes the various aspects of business relationships both explicit and measurable. Validates and ensures timely payment with Vendors via internal partners.

Influence Over SLAs and Pipeline Management:

• Provides input for building Service Level Agreement Strategy to measure criteria that Chase deems useful to quality or delivery measurement.

• Reviews pipeline on a daily basis for service level quality via active reporting. This will ensure that issues and risks are mitigated to continue a high level of product and delivery to Chase.

Keen Sense of Urgency:

• Analyzes and provides a feedback on pipeline workload with vendor delivery teams. Able to emphasize need for certain orders to be fulfilled faster than others.

• Negotiates with other relationship and vendor managers on pipeline priorities

Health and Fulfillment Reporting:

• Communicates with Sr Lending Managers multiple times each day to ensure status and actions on valuation orders are well known. Provides trend reporting to lending managers over time.

Managing Customer Experience:

• Drive a positive customer experience by reviewing feedback with vendors for Chase customers on the appraisals. Chase collects this data to create an environment of constant improvement; the manager will be driving the same vision with our vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

• Appraiser license, Collateral Underwriter 3, or equivalent experience required

• Current originations background and pipeline management experience

• 3-5+ years in Financial Services with progressively increasing responsibilities preferred

• 3-5+ years experience in the Mortgage Industry (appraising, valuating and/or underwriting) preferred

• Strong communication (verbal and written)

• Ability to deal with complex issues and provide constructive solutions

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Ability to apply business knowledge to new situations
