PT/OT and Pat Reg Technician - Outpatient
Position Highlights:
Nebraska Medicine is now taking applications for a talented individual to join us as a PT/OT and Pat Reg Technician. This role will be great for someone that has a passion for rehab and great customer service for our patients we serve. This specific position will work from the Laurizen Outpatient Center (LOC) in Omaha, NE.

Provide broad spectrum of support and therapeutic services to the Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapy professionals to facilitate optimal rehabilitation for the patient. Perform complex scheduling, registration, insurance verification and time of check-in collection duties for patients seeking services at the organization's clinics.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of one year customer service experience required
High school education or equivalent required.
Strong team orientation required.
Ability to identify and solve problems required.
Customer relations skills, both verbal and written required.
Ability to form and maintain working relationships within the organization to foster a team environment required.
Knowledge of computer, keyboard, printers, various software programs, approved on-line resources, multi-line telephone with and without headset, scanners, copy machine, fax, cyracom telephones, and office equipment required.
Strong communication and organizational skills with aptitude for detail-oriented work required.
Efficient data entry skills required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon completion of unit orientation required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous rehabilitation experience preferred and previous experience in scheduling and insurance background.
Previous experience with exercise equipment typically found in rehab setting, including but not limited to treadmills, exercise bikes, whirlpool, wheelchairs, walkers, etc. preferred.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
