Credit Risk Manager II is responsible for the development, management and execution of second line credit risk responsibilities, providing effective challenge to first line risk taking activities. Credit risk manager creates a framework for risk identification, measurement and reporting to SCO, Division Head, Credit Policy and Risk Management Committee; participates in the Quality control process of Divisional reporting.    

Direct responsibilities include: 


  • Develop second line policies, procedures, testing and reporting protocols in conjunction with first line risk embedded in Commercial, Business Banking, Residential and Consumer.

  • Documentation of portfolio reviews 

  • Develop, propose, document and implement new and amended credit policies. Present to Credit Policy Committee quarterly.

  • Perform self-testing including underwriting standards, RAC, policies and procedures

  • Provide project and other support to activities associated with Divisional SCO such as CECL, risk rating re-build, credit approval template re-design, etc.

Qualifications:



  • Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics is preferred.




  • Experience: 10+ years in credit risk management




  • Strong credit risk analytics skills



  • Strong project management skills and experience

  • Ability to effectively engage in verbal and written communication, including management presentations.

  • Proficient technical skills including Microsoft office with emphasis on PowerPoint, Excel and Word
