The Team

We are seeking an Analyst, Strategic Analytics to join American Tower’s FP&A team.  The FP&A team partners with internal stakeholders to provide actionable analyses and recommendations driven by detailed analytics. Day to day you will own the review, evaluation, setup and analysis of all asset-level, operational and financial information regarding new and existing capital projects As an Analyst you will partner cross-functionally to proactively inform and update key stakeholders involved throughout a project’s life cycle, from initial review to closeout.

What You Can Offer Us

• Manage, track and report on capital project costs, cycle times, and status’ to internal stakeholders.


• Facilitate new project review processes to meet or exceed established financial investment return requirements


• Directly manage product line review and acceptance process on a national level to improve processes for allocating capital and managing project cycle times.


• Deliver periodic updates and reports to internal customer and develop custom programs for their specific needs.


• Build reports pulled from multiple internal systems for use in executive-level PowerPoint presentations.


• Audit document uploads to ensure all required documents are saved to shared system prior to closing out a project.


• Other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed

• Bachelor’s degree required.


• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting and forecasting skill required.


• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing projects and large-scale budgets required.


• Telecommunications industry experience preferred.


• Approximately 10% travel may be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.


• Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.


• Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.


• Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
