Job Description:

Marketing & Leasing Specialist
The Marketing and Leasing Specialist (MLS) is an integral role for implementing and executing marketing and leasing efforts within their specified Region. This role primarily consists of developing and implementing marketing and leasing strategies at various properties. The MLS collaborates with and reports to a Regional Leasing & Marketing Manager, who also works with the same Region. Additionally, the MLS may be requested to assist properties outside of the specified region should assistance be needed. This role is built to assist sites with hands on task completion and drives a successful and creative vision within the respective market.

Travel: Position will require heavy travel; approximately 90%
Roles and Responsibilities:
The duties listed below are an outline of the Marketing and Leasing Specialist's responsibilities and should not be considered an all-inclusive list. As the needs of the Landmark marketing department change, so may the responsibilities assigned to the Marketing and Leasing Specialist.

Marketing and Leasing Management: Identify on-site needs, establish professional relationships and complete initiatives/tasks that will assist the onsite team in retaining current residents and in converting prospects to residents.
On-Site Support: While working collaboratively with the CM/LMM, provide on-site support and consultation for all property marketing and leasing efforts.
Market Evaluation: Review market trends and consult with RLMM to develop a plan to adjust marketing strategies as needed. Shop competitors and be keenly aware of marketing/leasing movement within the assigned portfolio/city.
Campus/Community Networking: Develop and foster relationships within the community and at the university, in efforts of branding the community and creating meaningful relationships with those who may have a positive impact on leasing.
Campaign Roll-Outs: Assist with implementation of all New Lease and Renewal campaigns; including, but not limited to, Lease Launch days, resident/prospect contact & follow up, event planning, etc.
Social Media: Review social media effectiveness through the evaluation of engagement, analytics and follower feedback.
Evaluation of Processes: Review lease flow and document integrity within Entrata and other additional systems, should they apply, to ensure compliance with policies and procedures of Landmark Properties. Work collaboratively with the CM/LMM to find areas that may need additional training and oversight. Conduct a corporate site visit inspection when visiting a property in order to report areas of improvement and success to the RLMM and RD.
Training: Assist in the learning and development of Leasing & Marketing Managers, as well as Community Assistants, through the facilitation of LEASE training and additional instruction.
Role Knowledge: Assist properties in an interim Leasing & Marketing Manager Role during hiring transition periods and/or position vacancies.

Entrata experience highly preferred.
