Job Description:

A metal fabrication and automotive company in New Castle, IN is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic for a 2nd shift opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and repair - You will be responsible for repairs, and preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment.


• Responding to equipment breakdowns - Keeping our equipment running and communicating technical subjects to co-workers.


• Documenting and updating activities - You will keep accurate records and follow a preventive maintenance schedule.


• Work with manufacturer's representatives and technicians to effect repairs beyond the capability of the plant.


• Train lower skilled maintenance repairers.


• Perform cutting, welding, fabrication, rigging and motor, drive and belt alignment.

• 5 years minimum experience in industrial maintenance and repair.


• Requires advanced shop math, complicated drawings and formulas, variety of precision measuring instruments.


• Considerable judgement to plan, layout and perform difficult work.


• High School or GED Diploma
