E-Commerce Listing/Tagging Associate - FT - Hancock Expressway & Academy Blvd. at Goodwill of Colorado in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Job Description:

Please Note:  This is our entry-level position in our E-Commerce Department.  As our Goodwill grows, advancement opportunities may become available for the right candidate. Strong typing skills are a must and ability to research items on-line are required!  Knowledge of antiques, art, collectibles, jewelry, electronics, etc. are not required but are a plus. If you have a clerical background or are someone interested in learning skills in the growing e-commerce industry, this may be the position for you!!

This position will start at $12.50 per hour with a possible increase upon successful completion of Key Productivity Indicators at 90-day evaluation.

Open availability is preferred (including evenings and weekends) for this position.  Our Outlet is open Monday through Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sundays.

OBJECTIVE:

The Listing/Tagging Associate will work in a fast-paced production type of environment and will be responsible for identifying quality products and creating tags for them. The Listing/Tagging Associate will be responsible for choosing quality high- end products, accurately describing each item, posting pictures, and adhere to daily goals and quotas.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Identify quality, high-end donated items that will bring a higher value when sold online such as: collectibles, antiques, jewelry, shoes, electronics and other various

  • Enter products onto our E-Commerce auction system, identifying and authenticating items as necessary to ensure accurate

  • Ensure item tags are professional by checking spelling and using good

  • Follow Companies procedures and policies for packing to ensure that items arrive to their destination intact.

  • Provide a clean and organized work area to promote a safe environment for employees and customers.

  • Cross-train in other Outlet areas and act as a back-up for other areas as

  • Perform all other duties as

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • One-year retail, auction or administrative experience is

  • Able to effectively use Internet Search Engines, Microsoft Office and other software platforms.

  • Able to identify and describe high-end merchandise, including but not limited to: antiques, collectibles, artwork, designer brand names, jewelry,

  • Able to communicate effectively with customers, managers, supervisors, staff and peers through verbal and electronic

  • Able to effectively write and proofread item descriptions for clarity, spelling and

  • Able to withstand prolonged sitting, reaching and bending up to 8 hours per

  • Able to work occasional overtime, including weekends, evenings and
