Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY: The Prescreening Assistant will be responsible for prescreening our patient, employee and visitor population in order to determine safe and infectious free entrance/admittance to CARTI facilities, by reading and asking predetermined prescreening questions, acquiring necessary vital signs, completing appropriate documentation and practicing proper hand hygiene per the infection control guidelines. The position will work closely with the infection control nurse to ensure new processes are implemented and followed. A qualified candidate should have the ability to clearly communicate, enjoy interacting with the general public, and work as part of a team, mostly outdoors. Applicants should be able to, and agree to wear an N95 mask, and face shield (both provided) at all times when present at the screening sites.
