Job Purpose To lead the Accounts Receivable function and supervise a team of accounts receivable specialists. The position will be responsible for administering and overseeing credit policies and procedures, timely collection of outstanding past due invoices, timely release of customer orders, and timely decision making related to customer orders and resolution of all issues.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Developing and maintaining accounts receivable practices and procedures to improve efficiency, reduce DSO days and minimize bad debt write offs.
Supervise AR team, distribute projects, train, coach and mentor staff.
Research and address complex customer issues and ensure issues are resolved fully and in a timely manner.
Review and assist with reconciliation of customer accounts
Review HCDU/Collection reports and assist with collection matters.
Research/troubleshoot CC issues – refund, if necessary through a 3rd party system
Oversee/manage release of customer credit holds – adhere to company policy
Administer Hisco’s Bad debt/Write off policy
Compile Monthly DSO Reports – tracking trends
Track fraudulent activity, work with IT to improve process
Support the AR audit process
Reviewing internal controls
Maintaining GAAP compliance

Maintain DSO metrics to 48 days or less
Reduce AR aging 120 days to 1% of outstanding Accounts Receivables
Review & maintain consistent customer credit limits/terms throughout
Administer company tax exempt policy
Education & Experience
College degree with emphasis in Accounting/Finance or relevant experience.
Experience with multi-site company
Proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
