Job Description:

We have an opening for a Lead Analyst who will be aligned to Specialty Pharmacy with a primary focus of supporting specialty medical benefit drug management. We are seeking a talented Lead Analyst who has the profile of a collaborative professional who excels in dynamic, sometimes ambiguous and complex activities by taking ownership, driving action and ensuring results. This individual has demonstrated the ability to take direction and respond quickly to both planned and unplanned activities to ensure results.

Program Management Lead Analyst Role Summary:

This role reports to the CP&Q Program Management Manager for Specialty Pharmacy. The individual supports the program management, strategy development, and operational delivery of the overall initiatives of medical specialty drug management. The role is part of a larger team that includes the Gene Therapy Program and you may be cross trained to provide support for that program.

In collaboration with the Program Management Manager, this individual will be responsible for developing, managing and driving key processes including project planning, status reporting, scope control, and will own collaborative efforts to drive results and manage interdependencies. This role will support multiple, time-limited projects which are often components of larger projects and collaborate on teams of business consultants involved in the evaluation of business requirements and/or the development of new procedures, processes, and policy solutions to address business needs. The Lead Analyst will support impact assessments and implications from a cost, efficiency, contractual, legal and/or regulatory standpoint. The position collaborates with the Program Manager and across various functional areas. The position receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.

Responsibilities


  • Collaborates with the Program Management Manager.

  • Determines project requirements, plans and timelines. Establishes priorities and monitors project plan progress.

  • Participates and/or assists in the facilitation of the design, development, and implementation of new operational controls, performance metrics, and automated processes.

  • Provides measurement and cost savings support for service management (development, reporting, validation and improvement).

  • Supports the creation and evolving development of the team's communication tools.

  • Leads small to mid-size projects or components of a larger project and collaborates on teams of business consultants involved in the evaluation of systems requirements and/or the development of new procedures, processes, and policy solutions to address highly complex business needs.

  • Provides measurement and cost savings support for service management (development, reporting, validation and improvement)

  • Recommends changes in processes based on outcome of projects, policy updates or new and evolving business strategies.

  • Works with matrix partners to ensure successful workflow impacts.

  • Proactively reviews business processes for potential improvement in writing, structure and presentation; providing feedback to peers and staff for improvement efforts.

  • Provides clear communication to ensure barriers and obstacles to continuous quality improvement are removed and necessary support is provided.

  • Maintains a positive working relationship with business partners, teammates and matrix partners.

  • Continually strives to improve skills and competencies by demonstrating initiative to participate in ongoing coaching and training programs.

Qualifications


  • Specialty Pharmacy Experience-Preferred

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing projects on time demonstrated by experience in tracking and monitoring the progress of key projects or programs and their associated milestones and recommending adjustments as necessary.

  • Strong oral and written communication

  • Demonstrated proficiency are critical in MS Office applications including Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook and SharePoint

  • Demonstrated ability to produce professional communication documents.

  • Detail oriented and able to pivot and communicate at a high-level to leadership teams.

  • Excellent organizational skills with proven track-record in simultaneously managing multiple assignments.

  • Consistently dependable, self-motivated, flexible, and highly driven.

  • History of a positive attitude on most days and knows how to make work enjoyable.

  • Consultative approach.

  • Demonstrated meeting facilitation skills and effective documentation of call summary notes

  • Successfully integrates the development, approval, and implementation of on-going program aspects.

  • Willing to develop knowledge and experience to provide subject matter expertise in response to day to day program related issues.

  • Ability to work independently or in a team, set priorities and meet deadlines.
