Job Description:

The primary purpose of your job position is to assist in the day-to-day recording of medical or administrative information in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern medical records, and as may be required by the organization policy, to ensure that records are maintained in an informative, descriptive manner.

Responsibilities are not not limited to:

• Maintaining confidentiality of the residents


• Maintain resident charts


• Transcribe doctors orders accuratley and timely


• Compling reports, making out forms as needed


• Assists doctors as needed at the Nurses Stations


• Types material as needed for the nursing department


• Arragnes resident appointments


• Prints Physicians orders

• Must possess at a minimum, a high school diploma or GED.


• LPN License


• A working knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, legal aspects of health information, coding, indexing, etc., preferred, but not required.
