Cognizant is looking for Senior Developer, AWS Lambda to join our Artificial Intelligence and Analytics practice (AIA). As a trusted advisor, responsible for providing an approach for the overall project. As a domain specialist, you will drive technology discussions and analyze the existing gaps in addressing business needs. Responsibilities:

• Design and architect solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS) for cloud based Data Processing and Data pipelines.


• Design and develop an event-driven, server less computing with AWS Lambda.


• Design and Develop data ingestion using AWS services such as Lambda and other services


• Design and develop on-demand applications that are responsive to events and new information within AWS services.


• Adhere with internal Security policies and Internal AWS Usage Policies.


• Educate clients on Cloud technologies and influence direction of the solution


• Work with the SMEs to implement data strategies and build data flows


• Manage data related requests, analyze issues and provide efficient resolution. Design all program specifications and perform required tests.


• Prepare codes for all modules according to required specification.


• Monitor and support all production issues and inquiries and provide efficient resolution.


• Evaluate all functional requirements, map documents, and troubleshoot all development processes.


• Document all technical specifications and associates’ project deliverables.


• Design all test cases to provide support to all systems and perform unit tests.

 
Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in Engineering or relevant field


• 5-8 years of success in consultative/complex deployment project, architecture, design, implementation and/or support of data and analytics solutions.


• Hands on development Design and Develop applications using AWS Services.


• Hands on development experience on on-demand applications that are responsive to events (AWS Lambda).


• In depth understanding of AWS Architecture including EC2, EMR, ECS, EBS, SQS, SNS, IAM.


• Expertise in understanding with various data sources like JSON, Parquet and Key Value Pair.


• Experience in working with any programming languages (Python, Java, Scala or GoLang).


• Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery


• Experience in working with Spark, Snowflake (Nice to Have)


• Strong understanding of Data Processing Pipelines and data flow.


• Experience in working with development tools like PyCharm, IntelliJIdea, Github etc.,


• Experience in managing various client relationships to get consensus on solutions.
