Senior Network Security Architect at Intuitive Surgical, Inc. in Sunnyvale, California

Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities:

This position has responsibility and authority to:

• Periodically assess and reevaluate networksecurity landscape at Intuitive's global foot print based on business needs tosecure enterprise network systems.


• Provide network security architecture andconsulting engagement with internal and external partners to satisfy stakeholders'requirements.


• Play a pivotal role in understanding key securityinitiatives from company executives/ sponsors, align them to quarterly goals asnecessary, and drive them to closure with collaboration and partnerships.


• Closely partner with different security andinfrastructure groups to help each other's technical requirements.


• Partner with different DevOps teams todevelop automation framework to scale and manage large infrastructuredeployments.


• Actively get involved with team members inproof of concepts and carry simulation activities in a non-productionenvironment to showcase new feature requests.


• Adept in documenting design principles, processmodels (ITIL or similar), security frameworks (NIST or similar), following andlearning from industry security trends, and at the same time mentoring teammembers with deep dive sessions.

Skill/Job Requirements:

• Master's Degree with minimum 7 years of industry experience or bachelor'sdegree with minimum 10+ years of experience in securing enterprise networkswith various automation techniques.


• Holdyour own and be comfortable during technical discussions, strong communicationand presentation skills.


• Outstanding experience in troubleshooting enterprise distributed systemswhen the echo system is integrated and connected with 24x7 uptime requirement.


• Strong Cisco Routing and Switching experience is a plus (BGP, OSPF, VPC,traffic engineering, Multicast, etc.).


• 7+ years of deep experience in deploying app based firewalls (Palo Altoor similar), cloud services(Prisma, Zscaler or similar), enterprise proxies(Symantec, McAfee or similar), and SSL inspection techniques.


• Well-versed in addressing advanced evasion techniques in the echo system.


• Hands on experience with security technologies such as SAML and PKIInfrastructure.


• Advanced experience in log handling, ELK or similar, SIEM tools, and SOAR(Demisto or similar).


• Network Security Automation and DevOps experience is a definite plus.


• Network Access Control (Aruba ClearPass or Cisco ISE) deployment in alarge enterprise with automation tools such as Ansible is a plus.


• Certifications - CCIE Security or similar, SANS GCIH or similar.
