We're seeking an energetic and customer oriented Regional Sales Manager to m anage a sales territory through developing and foster effective sales relationships and opportunities in the assigned geographic territory in concert with overall company sales and marketing objectives.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Manage assigned sales territory to achieve sales objectives including developing building and foster effective customer relationships and sales opportunities
Contact existing and prospective customers in person and via phone on a regular and consistent basis to develop and build strong relationships with key personnel within the target customer base and present all appropriate global products and services
Obtain and submit orders, establish new accounts and service existing accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule and referring to price lists, promotions, product literature, and special quotations
Train customer staff on the use of IRMN and other sales tools features and functions
Obtain and utilize customer parts usage reports to secure additional sales and help determine additional product offering needs
Gather competitive literature and promotional material with customer consent
Work to gather and use competitive market information to create sales opportunities and customer relationships
Key Responsibilities
Develop low-value customers and develops new or inactive customer accounts
Partner with Marketing to create brand awareness and promote research tools and services to support our global value proposition
Develop and manage goals and objectives, task prioritization, and effective use of available resources
Identify and resolve basic and moderately complex customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management
Effectively utilize sales planning tools and the pipeline management process to research and develop metrics to monitor and manage the sales process and obtain business objectives and goals
Works closely with inside and outside sales teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities for up-selling/cross-selling to existing accounts
Continuously develop professional and technical knowledge of products, services, competitors and market trends through participation in sales promotion and sales meetings
Navigate and update Salesforce and other company databases and programs to locate and record quotes and customer information
Leverage established TVH parts, sales and customer relations processes, concepts, and systems to provide effective and timely customer service
Complete and may lead well defined small basic or moderately complex tasks and/or projects
Develop working relationships with departments across the company including Sales, Marketing, Pricing and Accounting
Work professionally and collaboratively with customers and team members to achieve departmental sales and balanced scorecard objectives

Participate in regular conference calls to keep up to date on current sales opportunities and competitive actions
Attend trade shows and conventions as needed
Complete sales trip and expense reports in a timely manner
Handle minor truck maintenance to ensure the vehicle is washed and oil is changed, and make recommendations for major repairs that may be needed
Prepare and assist with presentations to customer staff and related companies
Education:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university or a minimum of five years substantially similar inside or outside sales work experience
Experience & Skills:
Must demonstrate a proven track record in providing exemplary customer service and consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets
Demonstrates proficient understanding material handling and industrial parts industry, parts, customers, suppliers, and vendors
Demonstrates a proven track record in customer relationship development and maintenance and meeting inside sales objectives and goals through effective customer relationship development
Demonstrates proficient understanding and demonstrating sales techniques including cold calling, customer qualification and customer acquisition
