Title: Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis (PF&A)

Location: Wakefield, MA

Role Summary

The Manager, FP&A is a full-time, professional role providing a range of financial support to the growth and effective management of Odyssey and its operational divisions. The Manager, FP&A is responsible for Odyssey's pricing initiatives, the organization's program control/financial management, and corporate-wide scheduled and ad hoc financial reporting/analysis. The role requires the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines, extreme attention to detail, and consistently produce accurate, high-quality financial analyses.

Responsibilities

- Work with senior management, operational directors, program managers, and department leads to build annual budgets and forecasts

- Producing models to project long term growth and determine the impacting business factors

- Analyzing financial and operational results to better understand and provide insight into company performance

- Utilizing reporting/BI tools to deliver meaningful insights into business performance

- Clearly and concisely communicate to senior management the contributing factors to company and divisional level performance and results

- Provide detailed analysis and commentary on cost center results

- Reviewing existing pricing and financial management processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts

- Provide insights to senior management around financial modeling, forecasts, and profitability

- Directly supports and oversees financial analyst(s) supporting all phases of the proposal process including pre-RFP strategic reviews, pricing, and cost-related proposal development, Q&As, and pricing reviews

- Identifies and develops pricing and Price-to-win strategies to increase cost competitiveness, in concert and compliance with RFP requirements

- Foster pricing policy & procedure adherence

- Oversee and contribute to the development and production of required documents to issue a request for quotes/proposal to subcontractors and vendors

- Manager and generate the content creation process for accurate, compliant, and competitive cost volume documentation that supports pricing methodologies employed

- Managing a team of Financial and Program Control Analysts

Qualifications / Requirements

- Minimum of 7 years of relevant cumulative accounting, pricing, and/or program control/financial management experience preferred

- Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent

- Must have strong accounting, pricing, and financial management/program control acumen within the DoD services market

- Experience in US Government Cost Accounting principles and/or indirect rate models.

- High proficiency in MS excel (e.g., data aggregation, advanced formulas, pivot tables, tables and graph production) and in MS PowerPoint.

- Strong analytical skills

- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines

- Ability to work independently and under high pressure
