SHORT DESCRIPTION
Working in a highly complex and integrated IT environment, encompassing multiple clinical
and business applications, the software quality analyst is responsible for the quality
assurance of application and programming changes, through the creation of end-to-end test
plans; execution of those plans and management of activities in the plan to ensure that all
the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected.
The Software Quality Analyst provides the means and the measures for testing all the
aspects of a software solution, both functionally and technically, in order to meet the
requirements and overall quality of the intended solution.
The software quality analyst is also responsible for applying the principles and practices of
software quality assurance to the creation and optimization of testing and quality assurance
practices at Cooper University Health Care.
Responsibilities Include:
* Develop, maintain and verify quality standards, procedures and work instructions for departmental processes to ensure the quality of software changes. Create and maintain testing documentation templates.
* Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
* Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements with clear traceability and design test plans.
* Hold and facilitate test plan reviews with cross-functional team members.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Scheduled Days / Hours: m - F 8:30 to 5:00
Bachelor s degree in Business, Healthcare, Information technology or related fields or equivalent work experience
3+ years of relevant IT Quality Assurance technical experience.
Required License/Certifications/ Registration:
CSQA Certification a plus but not required
Other Qualifications:
Previous Healthcare experience.
Information Services/Technology experience.
