We are currently seeking a Systems Architect to join our team in Sterling, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

The Systems Architect will establish system information requirements to develop large scale information systems and will design architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications. They will ensure compatibility, compliance, and regulatory requirements, evaluate workflows, organization, and planning and develop corrective action when necessary. This individual will provide daily supervision and direction to staff. The Systems Architect will work with the government customer, NTT staff and subcontractor staff to architect solutions to include cloud or on-premises server/storage/networking, and Wide Area Networking. They will oversee the design for hardware, networking and cloud components to efficiently and reliably implement the architecture, development and testing of designed solutions and deployment of solutions to cloud and physical locations. This position may require travel to downtown DC for customer meetings.

Required Skills:

* Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Math or Engineering

* 10 years System Engineering experience including server, storage and networking

* 5 years' experience in a client-facing role

* 2 years' experience managing System Engineering projects at an enterprise level

* Knowledge of AWS or Azure Cloud services

* Experience in telecom circuit and/or business Internet procurement and installation

Preferred Skills:

* Master s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related

* Knowledge of government security requirements

* DOJ clearance

* Knowledge of system hardening

* Experience interfacing with government customers

Clearance Requirement:

* Must be able to obtain a DOJ clearance
