PROGRAM MANAGER - BEHAVIORAL HEALTH OUTPATIENT, EATING DISORDER

POSITION SUMMARY: The Program Manager is responsible for the overall management of Behavioral Health Outpatient Programs include the Eating Disorder Unit (EDU), Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and oversight of Inpatient Social Work. The Program Manager will organize all program schedules with input from clinicians and medical staff. The Program Manager may also assist the Program Director by responding to referrals and coordinates the admission of individual patients into the Programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for developing and maintaining good relationships with referral sources
*

Works with other team managers to assure coordination and cooperation between the outpatient team and other community mental health programs.
*

Perform clinical roles relevant to the individual's clinical experience.
*

Organize daily programming schedule and experiential outings
*

Correspond with insurance companies for referrals and/or pre-certifications as necessary.
*

Conduct concurrent reviews with insurance companies as necessary.
*

Display professionalism in dealing with customers, staff and clinicians.
*

Complete assignments in a timely manner.
*

Complete documentation in a timely manner.
*

Follow all hospital policies and procedures.
*

Attend and participate in monthly staff meetings.
*

Attend and participate in weekly clinical supervision.
*

Works with the interdisciplinary team in meeting treatment goals.
*

Responsible for developing processes to ensure compliance with inpatient quality and regulator metrics
*

Facilitate weekly community support group.
*

Conduct tours of the unit to prospective patients and their families.
*

Maintain social media communication, including but not limited to: Facebook, blogging, website inquiries.
*

Maintain statistics on the activities of the departments, recommend strategies for improvement in performance, productivity and profitability.
*

Provides clinical supervision to identified social workers per requirements of the NH Board of Mental Health individualized social work contract (to be created with both PHP manager and clinician).
*

Perform ongoing outreach to referral sources.
*

Maintain monthly statistics around referrals and synthesis data into useful outreach opportunities. * Promotes internal and external customer satisfaction.

*

Builds and promotes a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.
*

Attendance: works as scheduled and is compliant with Attendance and Tardiness Policy.

QUALIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

*

REQUIRED: Graduate of an accredited nursing or a Masters counseling/social work program; current licensure as a REGISTERED NURSE IN THE STATE OF NH, or a compact state, or a LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR OR CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER; American Heart Association BLS; CPI.

*

PREFERRED: LICSW; Experience in eating disorders or related field; knowledge of program development, marketing and research methods; ability to use Excel and other relevant software programs.

*

Good oral and written communication skills.

*

Ability to utilize technology and social medial to enhance connection with potential patients and referral sources.

*

Knowledge of the community and financial resources.

*

TUITION REIMBURSEMENT PROGRAM (up to $5,250/calendar year)
