Responsibilities
A day in the life of an MRI Technician at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:
Reviews the schedule to determine openings, appointment confirmations and needs of referring physicians.
- Prepares and performs MRI procedures in compliance with department standards with a minimum of 99% accuracy.
- Regularly updates knowledge of techniques and regulations appropriate to the ages of patients served.
- Communicates clearly and tactfully with patients.
Qualifications
- Possess the credential of Registered Technologist in Radiologic Technology, ARRT(R), awarded by the American Registry for Radiologic Technology
- Possess the credential of Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, ARRT(MR), awarded by the American Registry for Radiologic Technology
