The ACR is searching for an Accountant to be responsible for assigned areas including (but not limited to) revenue, cash, inter-company and other operational related activities. They will support the Managed Societies and ACR. They will interact across departments and become subject matter experts of external systems and processes to support financial statement accuracy/completeness. They will report to the Accounting Manager and work closely with them to establish a top-notch Accounting Department!

The candidate is an organized self-learner who is attentive to details and places emphasis on accuracy and timeliness. S/he uses proven advanced technical skills to create process improvements and solve complex problems; is always searching for a better way.

 As a Junior Accountant, your responsibilities would be to:


  • Prepare monthly/month-end journal entries

  • Ensure account reconciliations are timely, properly prepared, reviewed and all variances are resolved

  • Record and reconcile cash deposits for respective revenue area


  • Prepare schedules and requests for audit and tax schedules.


  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, society contract, and other pertinent guidance affecting the societies

  • Assist with processing AP

  • Assist with special projects

  • Other duties as assigned

You possess the following qualifications:


  • BS/BA in Accounting

  • Minimum of 1-4 years of accounting experience

  • Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. GAAP and non-profit accounting standards

  • Proven aptitude for systems including advanced Excel skills and ERPs
