Located at our Americas Headquarters in Olathe, KS, as a Manufacturing Production Assistant, you’ll be responsible for these essential functions:

Profile

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Includes the following duties and other duties as assigned:

• General knowledge of printers and plotters


• Use of the Atom Flash Cut (flatbed plotter) to cut rubber sheeting to desired specifications.


• Ability to use a computer to transfer files to and from production equipment.


• Ability to identify raw material(s) by specification.


• Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings.


• Use of a sewing machine to make “sewn assemblies”.


• Use of the key cutting machine to produce duplicate keys.


• Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment.


• Have a high level of attention to detail and the ability to perform manufacturing / production in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a sense of urgency.


• Have good problem solving skills and ability to work independently


• Computer knowledge consistent with a production environment.  (including use of Excel)


• Mechanical aptitude of a level consistent with operating and maintaining production equipment


• Ability to read measuring devices used in the manufacturing of products.

• Knowledge of modern safe warehouse practices


• Ability to multi-task with little or no supervision


• Self-directed


• User level maintenance of equipment

Education:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); with six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  CNC, Graphic Printing, a plus.
