We are seeking experience custodial workers to assist us with our work at the USAFA. You will perform specific assigned janitorial duties while working to ensure the contract standards are met or exceeded. More About Your Role

To be sure we're providing a complete picture; here are some additional details about your role.
Your specific activities will include:


  • Working on-site at the beautiful Air Force Academy

  • Fully benefited position!  (Vacation, Holiday, Health Insurance, etc.)

  • Provide professional custodial services such as sweeping, mopping and buffing floors

  • Cleaning mirrors, windows and glass doors

  • Cleaning stairwells and walls

  • Emptying  trash

  • Vacuuming carpets

  • Policing (picking up) required areas.

  • Help provide a safe working environment for you, customers and fellow employees.

  • Able to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs, if required

  • This position requires a criminal background check that shows no felonies in the past ten years and no misdemeanors in the past five years (see specifics below**).

Background Check Requirements

**Per the Federal regulation - 5352.242-9000: CONTRACTOR ACCESS TO AIR FORCE INSTALLATIONS (NOV 2012):


  • The contractor shall obtain base identification and vehicle passes, if required, for all contractor personnel who make frequent visits to or perform work on the Air Force installation(s) cited in the contract. Contractor personnel are required to wear or prominently display installation identification badges or contractor-furnished, contractor identification badges while visiting or performing work on the

  • The contractor shall submit a written request on company letterhead to the contracting officer listing the following: contract number, location of work site, start and stop dates, and names of employees and subcontractor employees needing access to the base. The letter will also specify the individual(s) authorized to sign for a request for base identification credentials or vehicle passes. The contracting officer will endorse the request and forward it to the issuing base pass and registration office or Security Forces for processing. When reporting to the registration office, the authorized contractor individual(s) should provide a valid driver’s license, current vehicle registration, valid vehicle insurance certificate, and refer to USAFA A-01 Contractor Access to USAFA Instruction to obtain a vehicle

  • During performance of the contract, the contractor shall be responsible for obtaining required identification for newly assigned personnel and for prompt return of credentials and vehicle passes for any employee who no longer requires access to the work

  • Work under this contract does not require entry into controlled areas. Additional Special Clearance requirements are outlined in PWS Section 4.2.

  • Upon completion or termination of the contract or expiration of the identification passes, the prime contractor shall ensure that all base identification passes issued to employees and subcontractor employees are returned to the issuing

  • Failure to comply with these requirements may result in withholding of final 10 CONS Addendum: Per AFI 91-201 para. 2.12 applicable to all AF contract and lease, contractors and subcontractors are to promptly report pertinent facts regarding mishaps involving reportable damage or injury to the Air Force and to cooperate in any Air Force safety investigation. Cooperation will include toxicology testing (paragraph 2.7.4.). For additional guidance on contracts see AFI 91-202, The US Air Force Mishap Prevention Program specifically paragraphs. 3.5.1, 3.13.3. and 8.10. In addition per USAFA Supplement to AFI 91-201 paragraph 2.12, the contractor will report government property damage or serious injury to contractor personnel to USAFA/SE within one duty day of the mishap or event.
