Position Summary
KPFF Los Angeles Structural is looking for Structural and Civil Engineering professionals who are self-motivated and eager to deepen their knowledge of structural engineering while gaining real-world experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering (with an emphasis in Structures)
• Transcripts must show completed courses in:

  • Steel or Wood Design
  
  
• Minimum of 3 years of full time experience as an engineer or with an engineering company is required

Preferred Qualifications

• 3.0 Cumulative GPA or above in Bachelor’s coursework
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structures is strongly preferred

• Candidates with transcripts showing completed graduate coursework in:

  • Steel or Wood Design
  • Concrete
  • Seismic
  
  

• P.E. License preferred

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Due to COVID 19, this job temporarily requires responsibilities to be conducted remotely.
• Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.
• Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
• May occasionally need to lift items up to 15 lbs.
