Job Description:

Wisconsin Steel & Tube Corporation in Milwaukee, WI is looking for a Laser Operator for a 2nd shift opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Laser machines.


• Work with other shifts on remaining work, issues, shift to shift notes, etc.


• Assist in the decision-making process of future machines, ergonomic concerns, etc.


• Maintenance and repair of machines. Includes cleaning machine, cleaning the dust collector & Greasing specific grease points.


• Meets with engineers to discuss potential machine problems.


• Work with Programmer/Engineer to optimize material runs.


• Be able to change out specific Taps/Flow drill bits for Flow drilling and/or tapping.


• Diagnose/Troubleshoot cut quality issues-Adjust as necessary. o Tape Shot o Focal Position o Nozzle Change o Tech Table Adjustment discussion with Programmer/Engineer
